The Project

This project seamlessly merges nostalgic Americana with a modern, elevated design, capturing the vibrant energy of a classic 1950s diner while integrating contemporary elements for a fresh, engaging experience. Durable materials were essential due to high footfall, with custom laminate tops ensuring longevity and style. Steel-effect edging in the diner reinforces classic chrome aesthetics, while brass detailing in the cinema space adds a refined, sophisticated touch.

The furniture selection enhances the retro-modern balance, with the Clio chair and Block stool offering both vintage appeal and contemporary functionality. A standout feature is our bespoke fixed seating, including three Waltzer-inspired circular booths, which inject playfulness and are accentuated by contrasting piping for added visual interest and craftsmanship.

With bold colours, nostalgic references, and layered textures, the design invites guests to immerse themselves in a dynamic and visually exciting space. By blending the familiarity of a 50s diner with the sophistication of a modern lounge, the space achieves a unique and memorable experience.
